Women 4 Change

Donate to Women 4 Change today here.

Women for Change (W4C) is Hamilton Community Foundation’s collective giving program dedicated to advancing gender justice through intersectional feminist philanthropy. Together, donors fund community-led work that supports women, girls and gender-diverse people across Hamilton.

Through collective giving, learning and strategic grantmaking, W4C creates meaningful change today while building a stronger future for generations to come.

W4C donors help fund:

Since its establishment, W4C has granted more than $560,000 to organizations across Hamilton, and created a permanent endowment of almost $500,000 for long-term impact.

Learn, Connect, and Give. Learning and community connection are an important part of W4C. Donors have opportunities to deepen their understanding of community issues, connect with others, and learn about the impact of their collective giving through educational events, discussions with community partners, and opportunities to learn directly from grant recipients.

Your Involvement. At W4C, you can decide how involved you want to be. Whether you prefer to make a donation and stay informed through program updates, attend events, and/or join the W4C Learning Advisory Team, there are many ways to participate and connect.

Becoming a Donor. Gifts of all sizes are welcome. A suggested sliding scale is $240 – $2,400 annually (or $20 – $200 monthly). You are encouraged to give at a level that is meaningful and comfortable to you. Donations provide:
