Student Awards program

Who are student awards for?

The Student Awards program provides educational bursaries to students who demonstrate financial need and who have graduated from a publicly funded Hamilton high school.

Students must be in attendance at an approved college or university in Canada or, for specialized programs, in the United States. Students must also have applied for OSAP funding (but not necessarily received) to receive this award.

When can I apply?

There are two application deadlines – October 1 and February 1. You can receive funds from both rounds so we encourage you to apply for both.
